Engage new realities with Alter World

Alter World is a platform game similar to Braid that does manage to provide its own set of mechanics, all so that it can deliver a very good user experience and tremendous possibilities in the long run. It’s a nicely created game with a lot of stuff to offer and at the same time it does help you obtain tremendous possibilities because it focuses on adding unique gameplay mechanics.

One of the things to like about Alter World is that you can change between a light and dark version of the same world. This is really cool because you get to do such a thing in real time and the experience will definitely pay off. There’s a lot of attention to detail and definitely a lot of work integrated here, but in the end it does manage to pay off, with the game doing a very good job at combining beautiful locations with interesting mechanics.

But don’t think that the game is easy, because while the first few levels might be like that, there’s a lot of hardness as well as trial and error hidden underneath. The game is designed in order to offer a wide range of game mechanics that you can check out and the more you play the harder it will be for you to reach the end of a level.

Despite the fact that the difficulty can spike from time to time, there’s no denying that you have a lot to love in Alter World and the more you play the more fun it will be for you.

Even if the game world is stunning, there are a few issues with the game. For example the game world is a little broken and this does hurt the experience a little bit, because it brings in front a much simpler way to explore the title in all of its glory. Not only that, but if you are into one of the harder levels the experience might not be as appealing as you might want it.

The overall approach of the game is clever and you will rarely find so much fun in a small game like this. In fact, that’s one of the major selling points for Alter World, the fact that it really manages to deliver a great attention to detail and at the same time it features a unique time jump mechanic. Sure, there are a few problems for it but rest assured that this will not hamper your gameplay experience even one bit.

I recommend Alter World because not only is it a really good game as a whole, it’s a lot of fun to play and despite the minor issues it still is very enjoyable and fun for sure!
