Faron's Fate is an action- roguelike about a lone adventurer venturing into a dungeon full of dangerous monsters and rare artifacts. Enter a procedurally generated dungeon, fight for your life, and collect weapons, loot, and armor along the way.
Few people know this but Faron's Fate is actually a sequel to adventure dungeon and it’s, once again, a great roguelike game that you can play as you see fit.
The main idea with this game is that you have to explore a massive dungeon all while trying to acquire riches and engage in the ultimate adventures. As always, the game is designed in order to offer a very good, exciting and fun experience but at the same time it also delivers a very good outcome all the same.
Dungeons are procedurally generated, so even if you play multiple times you can’t end up on the same map. I like this because it does manage to deliver a great value to the game, that’s for sure.
Still, even if the game world differs, the gameplay is pretty much the same all around, and that can be truly troublesome all around. You will like the fact that this game is designed in order to offer you some great opportunities, but since it’s an RPG at heart you will love how impressive and interesting it can be at times. You will like the fact that it includes a whole bunch of cool gameplay ideas, but at the same time it does bring you weapons, loot and armor that add up to diversify your experience.
You can see Faron's Fate as being a roguelike Zelda, this will be one of the best ways to describe the game. It’s something different, unique and at the same time it does help you access a stellar gameplay all the time. You have to keep in mind the fact that you can modify your character, this helps you quite a lot as you play and it will deliver a very good experience all around. Of course, there are plenty of other things that you need to focus on, because the graphics here are very good, the dynamic lighting is simply perfect and the entire experience is designed with ease of use in mind.
Gamepad support is great with this game and you can actually get a lot of fun with this title, it all comes down to the entire experience as a whole so do try to keep it in mind, it will be a very important thing for sure, that’s a given.
You also have to remember the fact that there are lots of challenges in the game and more than 50 monster types to defeat, so there is no shortage of stuff to kill, that’s for sure.
Faron's Fate is actually a very good roguelike game and it does include everything you might want from a good, action packed game. Faron's Fate is offering a very good experience all around, so if you really want to embark in a nice adventure, this might be one of the best games to check out!
